Returns Policy

This Returns Policy sets out the procedure by which a consumer (the “Customer”) may exercise the right of withdrawal and return goods purchased from the online store operated by SIA “NGT Latvia” (the “Merchant”).

1. Right of Withdrawal

The Customer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. This period starts on the day the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer other than the carrier, receives the goods. If items from one order are delivered separately, the period starts on the day the last item is received.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must send an unequivocal statement to info@ngtlatvia.lv, or submit it to the Merchant by another means, before the 14-day period expires. It is recommended that the statement include the order number, the Customer's name and contact details, and the items concerned. A model withdrawal form may be used but is not mandatory.

The Customer must send or deliver the goods back to the Merchant without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying the Merchant of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if the goods are dispatched before the end of that 14-day period.

Before returning goods to a parcel locker, please contact the Merchant to agree on a suitable return method.

3. Inspection and Condition of Goods

The Customer may inspect and test the goods to the extent that would be possible in a physical store to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

When returning goods, please include all components, accessories and documents, and package the goods to prevent damage during transport. It is advisable to retain and use the original packaging where available; however, the absence of original packaging does not, by itself, remove the right of withdrawal.

The Customer is responsible for any reduction in the value of goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Such a reduction in value does not, by itself, remove the right to withdraw from the contract.

4. Return Costs

When exercising the right of withdrawal, the Customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods unless the Merchant has agreed to cover it. If goods cannot be returned by ordinary post due to their nature, information about the return costs must be provided before the order is placed.

If the Customer receives damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods, they should contact the Merchant at info@ngtlatvia.lv. Such claims are handled under applicable consumer protection laws; the Customer will not be charged costs that the seller is legally required to bear when remedying a lack of conformity.

5. Refunds

When the Customer exercises the right of withdrawal, the Merchant will refund payments received, including the original standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. If the Customer selected a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by the Merchant, the additional cost will not be refunded.

The Merchant may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or the Customer provides evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless the Customer has expressly agreed otherwise. No fee will be charged to the Customer for the refund.

6. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in cases specified by law. Examples include:

• goods made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised;
• goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery;
• other exceptions expressly provided for by applicable law.

An exception applies only where the specific goods and circumstances meet the legal requirements.
