The U-shaped head, made of flexible rubber, allows the main line to pass through a special channel in the lower part, between the two "arm" elements of the head.
This type of holder is designed for placing a spear handle (or shaft), but if necessary, it can also be used for positioning the fishing rod itself (blank).
This way, the blank is well protected against scratches or accidental falls.
The metal thread of the support head has a universal diameter, allowing it to be screwed into most rod rests or buzz bars with a universal attachment loop.
