It is powered by a small, yet long-lasting 12V battery type 23A. Turn it ON/OFF by holding the button for two seconds. After turning it on, the coloured LED diode will flash 3 times, when turning it off, it will flash once. When the device is turned on, you can choose one of the 5 volume settings, including the silent mode. The LED diode will light up for 10 seconds with each bite. All the bite alarm settings can be stored in memory.
