This small finesse-type jig with a tungsten weight allows for almost snag-free fishing. The jig hook is strong enough to reliably land larger fish as well. The Guard Spin Jig is especially recommended for situations when fish are passive and reluctant to take the bait.
The best trailer baits are crustaceans, worms, and a combination with swimbait lures in 2" and 3" sizes is also very successful. The Guard Spin Jig works most effectively with slow lure retrieval — small hops or dragging it along the bottom.
