This is confirmed by tens of thousands of MAGMA rods sold and, as we can safely say, millions of fish caught. When it comes to perfecting a rod, there is no better test than the test of time. This is also one of the reasons why this rod is named LEGEND4RY.
MAGMA retains its characteristic burgundy color and time-tested slender blanks, which serve as the foundation for the fourth generation. It would be a shame not to further develop this foundation, so we have added several new design and technical improvements.
Just like the previous version, the MAGMA LEGEND4RY is a perfectly balanced rod with outstanding strength and sensitivity. Thanks to high-quality carbon material and innovative manufacturing methods, the rod is very light and slim, but at the same time durable. It is extremely resistant to mechanical stress, ensuring its long service life. In addition, these properties allow for excellent control when fighting even trophy catches. The rod's action is semi-parabolic, absorbing the fish's sudden movements and reducing the chance of the fish unhooking during the fight.
Compared to the previous model, the ring placement and type were changed. Our goal was to optimize, balance, and lighten the rod, as well as increase casting distance. After extensive development, testing, and corrections, the goal was achieved – now you can cast your rigs even further and more accurately than before. The high-quality SIC guides ensure smooth line glide and reduce friction.
The handle shape and material have also been changed – cork has been replaced by durable EVA foam material, and the handle is ergonomic – narrower in the middle, with a cutout and an embossed pattern. These details add elegance and practicality to the rod, as well as providing greater comfort for your forearm during use.
Improvements have also been made to the rod tips. Due to the correct placement and size of the guides, the tip is very light, and the entire rod is more balanced. The set includes 5 carbon tips of different stiffnesses.
