Silicone glue is a true specialist for repairing and customizing almost all rubber lures. It is a colorless/transparent adhesive, and after drying, the bond remains soft and flexible, without hardening! Our Silicone glue does not stick to the skin, and thanks to its ergonomic application nozzle, it is easy to apply into holes, cracks, and cuts in rubber lures. The glue is very economical. Even rubber lures soaked in saltwater and flavored can be perfectly glued.
In addition, Silicone glue is ideal for attaching our fishingglue STINGER MAGNETS and fishingglue GLASS RATTLES to most soft plastic lures. The glue practically "welds" the fishingglue STINGER MAGNETS or fishingglue GLASS RATTLES to the soft plastic lure.
Instructions for use
Clean and dry the surfaces before gluing, if necessary. Apply a sufficient amount of glue to both cut surfaces, cracks, or other damaged areas. Allow to dry for 5–10 seconds, then press firmly together. Small adjustments are still possible at this stage. Immediately remove any excess glue. Leave the soft lure to dry for at least 10 minutes without disturbing it. After that, the glued area will withstand normal to heavy loads. The longer the drying time, the stronger the bond. Therefore, for heavily loaded areas and heavy lures, swimbaits, and castaic-type lures (over 16 cm), we recommend waiting at least one hour. If the bond is in the jig head area or the hook channel (due to cracks or "wobbly" areas caused by changing the jig head or fish attacks), remove the jig head before gluing and wait at least 1 hour (preferably longer) before using the lure.
Avoid direct sunlight and drafts during gluing! Temperatures below 5°C can negatively affect the result.
