KATRAN AMUR – floating hooklink material
Specially designed for fishing for grass carp in wild waters where maximum strength is needed without excessive diameter. Katran AMUR is a semi-stiff, floating hooklink material in green, which visually appears thinner than analogous products, but is actually stronger. This balance is provided by a combination of Dyneema and Tualon fibers, which gives high abrasion resistance and very strong knots.
The soft floating structure allows the bait to be lifted above the bottom, which is critically important for grass carp – especially when using corn or vegetable baits. Ideally suited for situations where the fish is strong, but the presentation needs to be natural and inconspicuous.
