Which lure colour should you choose in clear water?
In clear water, start with natural shades resembling local baitfish: silver, grey, brown, green or translucent colours with a little glitter. In bright sun and shallow water, cautious fish may respond better to a subtle lure. In cloudy weather, deeper water or active feeding periods, a bright contrast can also be effective.
