Korda Dark Matter Leader Heli-Safe Weed

These Dark Matter leaders are equipped with our Heli-Safe system and can be used with any type of helicopter setup, whether it's a standard hooklink or a chod rig. This leader has integrated tungsten collars to ensure it stays pinned to the bottom. It also features an integrated Chod Safe system, which ensures the hooklink can detach from the leader if the mainline breaks, and the hooklink can be easily attached with a QC Ring Swivel.

The DM Heli-Safe Leader is available in 1m or 50cm lengths, giving you enough room to move the top bead up, for example, when fishing in deeper silt or weed to ensure good presentation with the longer version. Some venues now have rules limiting the maximum length of the leader, and that's where the 50cm version can come in handy – it's also great for long-range fishing as it can be cast further.

The other end of the leader has a spliced loop to which you can attach your mainline or, for easy removal of the leader, it is best to use a loop-to-loop connection. The Dark Matter leader material is very abrasion-resistant, has a breaking strain of 30lb, and can be matched to any type of lakebed, as it is available in a choice of Clear, Weed, or Gravel. Each pack contains one leader.
