Korda BASIX Wide Gape hooks are designed as an ideal all-round model, ready for use straight out of the packet for various rigs – with sinking, pop-up or wafter baits, without the need to add additional components.
The hook's aggressively inturned eye helps it turn quickly and securely catch in the fish's mouth, without aligners or shrink tubing. Made from 'X' grade wire, which ensures high strength for fishing in both local and foreign waters. The black nickel coating is inconspicuous, but the long-lasting point allows you to catch multiple fish with one hook (it is recommended to check sharpness before each cast).
The hook's shape is based on the legendary Wide Gape design, which has proven its effectiveness in catching large carp over the years.
