This fused leader has integrated tungsten sections to ensure it hugs the lakebed, and is specifically designed for helicopter rigs. It can be used with both classic helicopter-style leaders and chod systems.
The leader is built using Leadcore Chod Safety System components to allow the hooklink to easily detach from the lead in case of mainline breakage. This is ensured by a No Trace bead (2 spare beads are included in the package) and a ring swivel for attaching the hooklink. One end has a fused loop for attaching the mainline, and the other has a Kwik Link for quick lead replacement. It is covered with a Helicopter Sleeve, ensuring a clean and tangle-free rig.
These 1m long leaders are highly abrasion-resistant, with a 30 lb breaking strain (or 40 lb in the reinforced European version), and can be perfectly matched to the bed type by choosing from the following colours: Clear, Weed, Gravel, Silt or Clay.
