This innovative Heli-Safe system radically changed fishing with helicopter-style rigs, as it allows for the controlled and reliable release of the lead as soon as a fish is hooked – precisely at those moments when it is crucial for a safe fish retrieve.
The system is particularly popular when fishing in heavily overgrown or snag-filled areas, as well as when using chod rigs. Dropping the lead in such situations significantly increases the chances of successfully landing a fish, especially when fishing at long distances with heavy leads.
If dropping the lead is not necessary, the included plastic retaining collar allows the lead to be securely fixed, maintaining all the versatility of the Heli-Safe system.
