LUPIN BEANS

Lupins are very well-known throughout the Old World, and we are talking about a very useful grain, depending on the situation. They are excellent for baiting in lakes and very good to use as hook bait. After soaking for some time, their natural sour flavor disappears.

Soak the lupins in a container overnight. The lupins will soften as they rehydrate.

Recommended soaking time: 24 hours

Next, add a little more water (just a bit) to the water left in the container and pour it all into a pot to begin the boiling process, which depends on the type of container.

Recommended boiling time: 30 minutes.

Once the lupins have settled and cooled to room temperature, place them in an airtight container where they will be left overnight to aid the germination process while the particle fermentation begins. Approximately 48 hours are needed for optimal fermentation.
