Delphin CASTIX
Description
Delphin CASTIX is a carp rod designed for anglers who want to achieve maximum casting distances. Its development incorporates modern technologies and carefully selected components, allowing for exceptionally long and accurate casts, while maintaining light weight, high sensitivity, and secure control when fighting fish.
The rod is based on a high-quality 24T carbon blank with a fast action and optimal stiffness. This construction ensures the rod quickly returns to its initial position after casting, allowing the line to glide more freely through the guides and achieve greater distance. Unlike many other long-distance casting rods, CASTIX retains sufficient flexibility during fish retrieval, reducing the chance of the fish coming off the hook.
Special attention has been paid to the guide system. After extensive testing, Delphin engineers chose to use one more guide than traditional carp rods, ensuring a more even load distribution along the blank. Lightweight single-leg SIC guides are placed in the upper section, reducing overall weight and improving the rod's reaction speed. Meanwhile, the 50 mm first guide helps the line exit freely during casting and minimizes tangling risks.
