Sunline XPlasma Asegai line, after four years of development, is one of Sunline's latest and highest-end products. It is an eight-strand PE braided line produced with the patented P-lon technology, which significantly improves slickness, abrasion resistance, and water repellency.
Compared to other standard braided lines, the surface smoothness and cross-sectional roundness have been improved by up to 370%. The XPlasma manufacturing process also increases hydrophobic properties by more than 240%, ensuring longer and more accurate casts, as well as less icing in the guides in cold weather.
Some of the world's best "braided line users" have also worked on the development, including Aaron Martens, Brent Ehrler, Brett Hite, Jason Christie, Todd Faircloth, and Dean Rojas.
Because anglers can easily visually detect even the most subtle bite signals, the sinking XPlasma is produced in a light green color.
