The Rapala Skitter Pop® is a classic surface popper designed for spectacular predatory attacks on the water's surface. Its special concave lip creates a loud "pop" sound, water splashes, and bubbles, effectively imitating an injured fish or one struggling on the surface.
The popper is easy to animate – it can be retrieved with short jerks, a consistent "popping" technique, or in a walk-the-dog style. It's ideally suited for pike, perch, and other predators during the warm season when fish actively hunt near the water's surface.
