The CATKONG series for catfish and sea fishing has been expanded with an extreme rod – WALHALA, which offers immense power, stiffness, and an incredible casting weight of up to 950g! It is built on a thick carbon blank capable of tiring and subduing even the largest catfish, belugas, or sea fish.
Along the rod are 11 precisely positioned guides, ensuring excellent load distribution. The guides are made of a durable metal frame with a wear-resistant SiC insert – a type used in Big Game Fishing (e.g., for marlin). The rod can also be used with the thickest fishing lines.
The joints are covered with an additional layer of carbon, wrapped several times around the blank's surface. The massive metal reel seat is equipped with two locking nuts – the reel will be secure even under heavy loads.
The handle is designed in a combination of black and camouflage green. Above the reel seat is a support grip, allowing the rod to be pressed with shoulder strength. The bottom part of the rod has a bulb-shaped butt cap, which can be inserted into a fighting belt, making the rod suitable for sea fishing as well.
