SHIMANO ULTEGRA CI4+ XTC / XSC
The Shimano Ultegra CI4+ XTC/XSC is one of the most popular Big Pit reels among carp anglers, combining excellent casting distance, lightweight construction, and reliable mechanics. This reel is in the mid-range segment of Shimano's long-casting reel lineup, offering professional-level technology at a very affordable price.
The lightweight Ci4+ composite construction significantly reduces the reel's weight, allowing for higher rod speed during casting and achieving greater distances. Combined with Super Slow 5 line lay and an AR-C spool, the Ultegra CI4+ ensures exceptionally smooth line release, which is crucial for long-range carp fishing.
The Ultegra CI4+ has been the preferred choice of Team Shimano and Team Tribal anglers for years. It is available in the classic 14000 size for long-distance casting in lakes and large reservoirs, as well as in a compact 5500 size – ideally suited for medium distances or precise feeder fishing.
