Curly Grub is a particularly popular edible twister from Bait Breath, manufactured in Japan, but developed and tested in our waters with FishingStock experts and athletes. Despite the wide range of Bait Breath lures, the Japanese did not have a twister with a long tail – but this is very important for our region. The development and refinement of Curly Grub took more than a year, and today it is almost at a bestseller level: both pike, perch, and zander react to it with great interest. Without exaggeration – Curly Grub is currently the best lure in its class.
The medium-sized, slightly wavy Curly Grub body transitions into a very flexible, interestingly twisted tail, the surface of which is designed with a honeycomb structure. This ensures stable and consistent play even at the lowest animation speed and with any lead load. The segmented body, when it enters the mouth of a predatory fish, creates a completely natural illusion of live food, so the fish does not want to spit it out.
During animation, Curly Grub creates fast but low-frequency vibrations, attracting predators from a long distance. At the same time, this twister has shown phenomenal effectiveness even on passive fish. Excellent in the free-fall phase, as well as in smooth, gradual, and even sharp, nervous animation techniques.
Curly Grub is fully compatible with cheburashka rigs, jig heads, offset hooks, single hooks, double hooks, and treble hooks. It is a super comfortable, very effective twister, possibly – the best in its category.
