Spinnerbaits are a traditional class of bass lures that have been around for almost a century. The most essential characteristic of this lure is its weedless function – it's a search lure that works perfectly in grassy areas. During the development process, KEITECH focused precisely on this fundamental feature.
Three main search bait characteristics were highlighted:
• excellent flight,
• outstanding action,
• good hook-up rate.
Materials and design were chosen accordingly. KEITECH confidently recommends this model as their standard spinnerbait.
The T-shaped head (hence the name) is designed with a groove on the underside, which helps the lure properly catch the water flow and maintain a horizontal retrieve. There's a protrusion on the sides that protects the hook tip from obstacles. This shape is a logical result of in-depth research into the fundamental functions of spinnerbaits.
The blades start rotating even in a very weak current and lift almost immediately after hitting the water. This is a result of KEITECH's approach – the spinnerbait standard must meet the same basic level that the company has honed in its soft lures. The perfectly matched colors – for both the head and the "skirt" – also attract attention. Six versions are available: white, silver, gold, copper, gunmetal, and black.
In addition, a special bead, the Cone Head Weed Guard (registered design), is added to the front blade to prevent rotation interference caused by weeds or debris.
Excellent hook-up rate and low risk of losing fish – thanks to an original "sprocket bent" type hook made in Japan, developed in collaboration with Katsuchi Co., Ltd. The hook specification was created after careful analysis of what is needed for a high-quality spinnerbait hook.
The worm keeper is long and has a low center of gravity to improve casting characteristics and ensure the lure maintains a horizontal position in the water. The weight is indicated on the lure itself.
