Start fishing with a swivel rig weighing 0.8g and a mini Polaris 1.2", then switch to 5g + Polaris 2" when you see that perch are actively feeding in the distance. The Arion 742SULS ensures confident and comfortable operation throughout the tested range.
It has a delicate solid tip, providing maximum sensitivity and awareness. Feel every contact between the lure and underwater obstacles, and when necessary, also follow the slow touch of a perch on the tip.
It will be an excellent addition to the already popular Arion 702ULS, which is highly valued by micro jig enthusiasts.
What is the difference? Due to its longer length, the Arion 742SULS will be more comfortable for long-distance fishing (from casting), and it also works more confidently at the upper test limit.
It is not as "sharp" as its older brother - the Arion 742ULS (1-7 g).
It has a fast action to work effectively with the lightest weights.
When hooking fish, the tip engages even with perch of a few grams, but the butt section of the rod (blank) retains sufficient power reserve in case your trophy catches – 1 kg or even more!
Like all Arion series rods, this model also has two handle material options: EVA or cork.
