This rod is designed for vertical catfish fishing from a boat or belly boat, and it has been tested under extreme conditions on the Rio Ebro river. The one-piece blank design with excellent action allows the rod to be fully utilized when fighting truly big fish.
It is equipped with durable double-foot guides with SiC inserts, whose placement is ideal for both classic spinning reels and baitcast reels. The first guide has a fluorescent winding to make it easier to spot bites at night.
A reliable reel seat with a nut on top prevents the reel from unscrewing during a fight. The ergonomically shaped EVA handle provides a comfortable grip and is designed so that when using a baitcast reel, the line does not cut into the handle.
The rod handle length is adapted for boat fishing, where there is limited space for manipulation, yet it is long enough to provide strong rod action during a fight.

It’s designed to have enough space to hold it and so the line won’t cut into it when using a baitcast reel that has a lower profile axis.
The length of the handle is adapted for boat fishing where you often have limited space for manipulation, but it’s still long enough for you to really pump the rod when fighting.
