The renewed Helicore blank made of T1100 carbon offers significantly more sharpness and sensitivity than previous generations. The action has been deliberately made stiffer – to better work with active lure animation and ensure a secure hookset even at a distance. The Fishscale type surface finish (borrowed from the AIR Spin RS-2 series) provides both a visual effect and additional stiffness, while the 3K carbon handle section above the FUJI VSS reel seat transmits bite signals directly to the palm.
