BIG 4 g
The smallest "spinning tail" type lure in our offer, perfectly suited for jigging. The blade continuously spins on descent, and its reflections and vibrations provoke predatory fish to attack. These properties are particularly useful when catching predators in murky water or at great depths. BIG is designed for perch, trout, and chub. The optimal working depth is 1-3 meters. A popular model among sports anglers.
NOTE: Perch fishing on a windy day
When you want to catch perch but the weather is not favorable – it's windy – use BIG 4 g or MAG 6 g. These lures "are not afraid" of the wind and are often the only choice in situations where other baits don't work.
The second group of lures in our range are tail spinners, whose following grows every year. This lure was developed in the USA for bass fishing and quickly gained immense popularity. It soon became apparent that it was also very effective for catching other predatory fish. Its popularity continues to grow in Europe. In Poland, this lure is commonly referred to as a "spinning tail," but in many angling circles, it is also known as a "secret weapon." After numerous tests, SPINMAD created its own line of this universal bait.
Features that define its versatility:
• compact design, allowing for long casts;
• the blade spins constantly, regardless of the retrieval technique;
• with one lure, it is possible to fish all water layers;
• it does not twist the line during operation;
• the vibration is perfectly felt by the angler;
• the spinning motion reduces the sinking speed;
• perfectly suited for topwater fishing, jigging, and "drop" technique.
When fish are active, they will bite on any lure, but when they are passive and unwilling to feed, a stronger stimulus is needed – for example, a tail spinner. The rotating blade transfers vibrations to the lure's body, creating additional stimulation. Anyone targeting pike, perch, asp, or trout should definitely have SPINMAD tail spinners in their arsenal.
Three basic ways to operate a tail spinner:
• Steady retrieve in the chosen water layer;
• Jigging at depth, raising the rod and simultaneously reeling in the line;
• Classic "drop" – two or three reel turns and free fall until contact with the bottom.
Tail spinner action in water
The vibrating body and rotating blade attract fish's attention even with a simple, classic retrieve. However, the true advantages are revealed when jigging in deeper areas and technically challenging sectors.
Advantages of tail spinners:
• unprecedented casting distance that other baits cannot achieve;
• the design allows fishing all water layers;
• it does not twist the line during operation;
• works great in overgrown areas;
• the vibration is very well felt by the angler.
