Compared to the previous model, the 23' Revros has improved key features. Thanks to the new, lightweight Airdrive Design rotor, the reel's balance is shifted from the front to its bottom, thus improving overall balance.
The new Airdrive bail used in the reel is significantly lighter than the previous model and, in combination with the new line roller, which is supplemented with a protective cap, prevents possible line entanglement during casting. If there is a possibility that the line might wrap around the line roller during casting, the protective cap completely prevents it, and with a turn of the handle, the line returns to the desired position.
The integrated and improved ATD Type-L drag system provides significantly greater braking power and smooth line release even under increased load, which is especially necessary when a large catch is hooked.
In addition to the new improvements, this reel also retains the previously highly-regarded Daiwa technologies - the LT (Light & Tough) concept, which significantly reduces the reel's weight. Tough Digigear (enlarged main gears), typically used only in more expensive reels, ensures excellent power distribution.
