The new Airdrive bail used in the reel is significantly lighter than the previous model and, in combination with the new line roller, which is supplemented with a protective cap, prevents possible line entanglement during casting. If there is a possibility that the line could wrap around the line roller during casting, the protective cap completely prevents this and with a turn of the handle the line returns to the desired position.
The integrated and improved ATD Type-L drag system ensures significantly greater braking force and smooth line release even under increased load, which is especially necessary when a large catch is hooked.
In addition to the new improvements, this reel also retains the previously highly rated Daiwa technologies - the LT (Light & Tough) concept, which significantly reduces the reel's weight. Tough Digigear (enlarged main gears), which are usually only used in more expensive reels and provide excellent power distribution.
