The OXYD reel mechanism is designed to be durable and stable. A total of 10 ball bearings (9+1) guarantee smooth operation. Brushes embedded in the rotor prevent the line from getting stuck under the spool, and the spool itself is mounted on a thick shaft, which increases the reel's durability.
The Quick Drag adjustment knob allows you to engage the drag with a half-turn, which is particularly useful during a fight. In addition to the Quick Drag mechanism, the set includes a classic Slow Drag adjustment knob. An anti-reverse lever is located under the spool, while the spool is equipped with a metal clip, which helps to make more precise casts.
A distinctive feature of OXYD is its baitrunner system. At the back is an additional drag adjustment knob, which controls the baitrunner lever located directly above it. The metal handle is suitable for both right and left-handed users, while the dark-tinted wooden handle knob adds a sense of exclusivity.
