SHIMANO BAITRUNNER Ci4+ XTB-LC
The Baitrunner Ci4+ XTB-LC is one of the most advanced Shimano Baitrunner long-range reels, combining the classic free spool system with Big Pit level casting performance. The lightweight Ci4+ composite construction, massive Long Cast spool, and perfect line lay make this model a serious tool for long-range carp fishing.
Despite its large size, the reel feels surprisingly light in hand. This helps to increase rod speed during casting, resulting in even greater distance. The classic Shimano Baitrunner free spool system works perfectly and allows the fish to take the rig without resistance, while a single turn of the handle instantly disengages the free spool.
The large AR-C Long Cast spool, Slow Speed oscillation, and Aero Wrap system ensure very precise line lay, which significantly reduces friction during casting. As a result, rigs can be cast considerably further – especially important in large carp waters where fish often feed far from the bank.
