The Gauja 17 g spoon is a classic and proven lure, primarily designed for spinning for salmon and trout, especially in rivers with current. Made from high-quality nickel, it ensures excellent durability, stable and enticing action, as well as strong light reflections in various water conditions.
The UV colors used in the spoon enhance the lure's visibility in the water, making it particularly effective in murky water, at dusk, and in changing weather conditions when salmon and trout react to additional visual stimuli. The 17-gram weight allows for long and accurate casts, as well as maintaining control over the lure even in stronger currents.
This spoon is perfectly suited for Gauja-type rivers, as well as other salmonid rivers in Latvia and beyond.
