As the name suggests, this lead is designed specifically for long casts. The nose-heavy shape makes it very stable in flight and also ensures good hooking efficiency.
This is undoubtedly Danny's favorite type of lead. He says about it:
“I like to fish at long range in open water, creating a baited area and fishing with all three rods just a few feet apart. The nose-heavy shape of this lead means it flies straight as an arrow – exactly where you want it to. For this style of fishing, I can't imagine anything else!”
