This is a composite polymer material (ethylene vinyl acetate foam), a modern, lightweight, environmentally friendly and hygienic material widely used in various spheres of life, including footwear production. Boots made of EVA material are absolutely waterproof because they are fully molded and have no seams – neither welded nor sewn. It is much lighter than other materials used in the production of hiking gear. EVA has a porous structure, meaning it is filled with microscopic air bubbles, which contributes not only to lightness but also provides excellent insulation. Important advantages of EVA material are elasticity and flexibility. These shoes tire the feet less, making them easy and comfortable to walk in.
