The Spro Freestyle Flip Net & Handle landing net features a special mechanism that allows the net head to freely rotate 360 degrees by simply unscrewing it. This ensures a very compact size and secure transport. The Flip Net system is particularly useful when trying to land a fish from a high urban bank, such as a harbour area or a tidal riverbank. In such situations, the net head can be rotated to a 45 or even 90-degree angle, using it similarly to a dropnet. This flat angle is also ideal for releasing fish — simply lower the net into the water, let the fish rest, and peacefully swim away.
Pair the Flip Net with the Freestyle 4m or 2.8m handle — they are durable, lightweight, and compact. Made from carbon composite, they fold down to less than 20% of their full length; for example, the 4.0m (13’1”) version folds down to just 60cm (2’0”).
