The Tiemco Cicada Jumbo Dead Slow is a topwater lure designed specifically for dead slow retrieval – a technique that often provokes strikes from large and wary fish. This cicada-type lure perfectly imitates an insect that has fallen into the water and is helplessly struggling on the surface.
The ultra-thin 0.5 mm aluminum wing plates create a very distinct, yet compactly controlled movement even at minimal speeds. Thanks to its lightweight construction and well-thought-out balance, the lure produces a tight pendulum motion even over very short distances.
When used correctly with an ultra-slow retrieve – approximately 10–15 cm per second – the Cicada Jumbo Dead Slow can provoke explosive strikes directly from the water's surface. It's an ideal lure for situations when predators are feeding on insects falling onto the water.
