Tungsten Jig Head
The ideal solution for presenting light and ultra-light silicone lures, especially for trout and other smaller predators. Tungsten jig heads provide exactly what fine spinning needs – a compact shape, excellent sensitivity, and fast sinking to the strike zone.
Tungsten is about two-thirds heavier than lead, so for the same weight, a jig head made from tungsten is significantly smaller and much more discreet underwater. Smaller volume means less resistance in the air and water – leading to longer casts and significantly faster sinking. The hard material provides excellent bottom feel and allows you to detect even the gentlest touch on the rod tip.
Equipped with strong, ultra-sharp barbless hooks that are easy to remove and gentle on the fish – perfect also for competition fishing, such as in the Trout Area format. The special shape of the hook guarantees immediate penetration and secure fish retention during the fight, while the large eye speeds up rig tying.
The color range covers most fishing situations – bright fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange tones are excellent for provoking recently stocked fish, gold and silver are a proven classic in sunny weather, and the copper tone is ideal for clear water when a cautious wild fish needs to be enticed.
Various diameters and hook sizes are available to precisely adapt to depth, current, and the silicone used.
