This small finesse-type jig with a tungsten weight allows for almost snag-free fishing. The jig hook is strong enough to reliably land larger fish. The Guard Spin Jig is especially recommended for situations where fish are passive and reluctant to bite.
The best trailer baits are crayfish and worms, and a combination with 2" and 3" swimbait lures is also very successful. The Guard Spin Jig works most effectively with a slow retrieve – small hops or dragging it along the bottom.
