This small finesse-type jig with a tungsten weight allows for almost snag-free fishing. The jig hook is strong enough to safely land larger fish as well. The Guard Spin Jig is especially recommended for situations when fish are passive and reluctant to bite.
The best trailer lures are crustaceans, worms, and a combination with 2" and 3" swimbait lures is also very successful. The Guard Spin Jig works most effectively with slow lure retrieves — small hops or dragging it along the bottom.
